Sources before a recommendation
We prefer original manufacturer instructions for dimensions and care, animal-welfare organizations for general handling guidance, and original testing reports for testing claims. A retailer listing can help identify a model, but it is not proof that a safety or health claim is true.
Buying guide is not a hands-on review
A researched comparison will be labelled as such. A hands-on review requires a real record of the exact item, conditions, date and observations. We do not invent purchases, dogs, test sessions, professional credentials or experience. Brutus is a fictional character, not a product tester.
Limits and corrections
We do not claim a toy is indestructible, that equipment prevents disease, or that a product is certified without the corresponding evidence.
